Educational Value

Welcome to our Educational Program! Our learning model provides hands on learning along with real life connections. We value the opportunity to partner with you in providing your child a supportive learning environment. Our service mission is to promote health, education, attitude, recreation, and teamwork (H.E.A.R.T.) for youth 4- 18 and facilitate the development and delivery of a positive environment for young people that live in underserved communities. We believe every child deserves an opportunity to participate in growth development programs. These programs include life skills, financial acumen, and insight into the future including career exploration and skill development. Our programs focus on English Language Arts, math, study skills, health and wellness, overall education enhancement, and real-world connections through hands-on learning and experience.

Our educational value meets Ohio Education Core Standards. Our lesson plans are aligned to cover the common core standards that are required by each Ohio school district. We meet the needs of our participants through one on one sessions, small group activities and other special program designs to meet each individuals needs.

Session 3 – Leadership & Coping with Failure

Session 6 – Fundamentals of Etiquette & Manners

Career Day is important because:

Gives students an up-close look at different career paths and connects their learning to the real world.
Helps high school students decide what to study in college.
Introduces young children to potential career options early on in school, which can keep students focused and engaged in subjects throughout middle and high school.
Offers students an up-close and private look at a multitude of jobs.
Provides parents who might not normally be active within their child’s school to obtain involved.
Gives students examples of the many ways what they are learning in school can relate to educational and career opportunities in the future.
Gets students excited.
